My name Tom McDonald, and I am South East Asia Product Manager for Interpid Travel.
Intrepid Travel is the largest small group adventure travel company in the world. The company offers more than 1,000 escorted tours worldwide. Tours are offered under the brands Intrepid Travel, Peregrine Adventures, Adventure Tours Australia, and Urban Adventures. In Indonesia Intrepid Travel offers land tours across Bali and Java and a small-ship adventure cruise to Lombok, Sumbawa and Flores.

I have been part of the Interpid team since mid-2018, where I started in a sales and customer service role before moving my way into the Product Team. I now manage our South East Asia product line, a region of great passion to me. Miriam Tulevski is the Founder and Managing Director of Indo a Go-Go tourism marketing. IGG is an Australia – Indonesia focussed tourism marketer assisting Governments, industry and travel stakeholders to understand their opportunity and market it.
Miriam is the Visit Indonesia Tourism Office Country Representative in Australia where she provides research, analysis and recommendations, engages with travel stakeholders and supports Indonesian Ministry of Tourism activity.
Services include strategic planning, PR, stakeholder engagement, events, advertising and representation.

Nia Niscaya has been in civil service for 29 years at The Ministry of Tourism and Creative
Economy/Tourism and Creative Economy Agency. On February 2020, she has been officially
appointed as The Deputy for Marketing, who has responsibility to promote Indonesia tourist
destination and creative economy over the world and over the Indonesia.
Prior to this, she was The Deputy Minister for International Marketing II (Asia, Europe, America, Middle East and Africa).
Ms. Niscaya played an important role at ensuring success when Indonesia was made as country
partner at ITB Berlin in 2013. She has a comprehensive knowledge and experience on digital
marketing, tourism hub programs and joint promotional frameworks. To strengthen on her new
position, she is focusing to learn and develop Indonesian Economy Creative to increase foreign
exchange to Indonesia.
After completing her degree in law at Airlangga University, Surabaya, Indonesia, she went to
University of England, New South Wales, Australia and gained an MBA in 1996.
In the international forums, among others, she held the position of The UNWTO Regional Chairman
for East Asia and Pacific in 2018, and Vice president of General Assembly from East Asia and
Pacific in The 23rd Session of the UNWTO General Assembly in Saint Petersburg, Russian
Federation in 2019. In 2019, she represented Indonesia to deliver Indonesian Tourism Update and
Innovation in G20 Tourism Ministerial Meeting – Senior Official Meeting in Hakkaido, Japan.
